A new digital leadership event in need of branding and digital marketing material
Introduction
Following the success of the International Reading Conference, I have been working with the marketing team at Reading Solutions on a new event called the World Class Leadership and Culture event. This was a cultural and leadership-in-education event designed for multi-academy trust executives, senior leaders and aspiring leaders. Showcasing highly regarded speakers in their respective fields, discussing how to align, empower and engage your staff.
The Brief
For this project, we wanted to create a new brand identity that complimented the International Reading Conference and incorporated the same visual geometric style but presented in a more professional context, appealing more towards people whose roles are higher within the education sector.
The Process
To start with, I worked on how to make the geometric style from the International Reading Conference more professional. We moved away from the chosen colour palette. We focused more on a blue colour scheme, indicating a more corporate feel. I then designed a logo design and a new photographic style that complimented the pattern.
Once the style was set, I worked on a short motion design to help bring the brand to life, along with various social media materials and branding for the event.
