Hi, I'm Dan, a freelance graphic designer based in Newcastle, specialising in custom graphic design and logo creation in Newcastle and the north east area.

Although I’ve lived in the North East for most of my life, I haven’t quite picked up the Geordie twang! I’m passionate about design, and I love exploring new styles and techniques to enhance my work.

After studying Graphic Design at Northumbria University, I gained experience both working in a marketing agency, an in-house marketing and on a freelance basis. I take pride in every project, ensuring the final designs are not only something my clients love but something I’m also proud of.

Outlining Your Brief

Before we dive into the creative process, we’ll first go over some important details to make sure we’re both aligned. To kick things off, we will either discuss your design needs over the phone or via email. Depending on the complexity of the project, I may also send over a short questionnaire to establish the brief. From there, I’ll research your brand, industry, and audience, as well as potential design directions we can take the project.

Fulfilling the Project

Once I have everything, I’ll sketch and explore initial concepts. Based on your feedback, I’ll digitally refine and present a polished design preview.

Feedback & Changes

Once I have all the information I need to get started, I’ll dive into the creative process. I’ll begin with preliminary sketches and come up with rough concepts to explore various directions for the design. After presenting you with a few ideas, you’ll provide feedback or select the direction you’d like to pursue. Based on your decision, I’ll digitally refine the chosen concept and present you with a design preview. This step allows us to fine-tune the details and ensure everything is aligned with your vision before finalising the design.
