An osteopathic and sports injury clinic looking to overhaul and redesign its brand identity completely
Introduction
Gelson Osteopathic approached me after a recommendation from Celia at Painless Practice. They came to me saying that his current branding was outdated and drastically needed updating, including a new logo design, stationery, and redecorating their office space to fit the new branding.
The Brief
The brief was to completely redesign the brand identity with a modern logo design and bold colour scheme, reflecting his brand values of professional and healing practice. Once completed, the next step was to design a range of printed materials, including stationery and sticky notes, incorporating the logo design and brand identity.
The Process
To start with, I chatted with Chris, the practice owner, over the phone to establish the brief. I then sent a small questionnaire to fill in to understand better what the practice needed. Once I had everything, I made a start on the brief, firstly by researching their business, the field and their competitors to get a better understanding of the market. I then sketched out several logo designs, which I presented to the Gelson Osteopathic team with a brief explanation of my thinking for each concept. From the ones they liked, I developed further and submitted them for further feedback; I then made changes based on their feedback until they were happy to sign off on the logo design.
Once I completed the logo, I had to design various printed marketing materials to support the new brand identity, including stationery, appointment cards and sticky notes.
