A rebrand and new web design for an energy specialist
Introduction
Confused About Energy is a website offering specialist advice on how people can use energy more efficiently and cost-effectively. Their main goal is to help people better understand energy so they can save money and help the environment.
The Brief
Richard tasked me with the rebrand Confused About Energy, coming up with a new logo design and helping plan out the website structure and layout with a web designer. I also was tasked with developing various illustration designs that helped guide users throughout the website. After that, I created a print design to promote energy efficiency.
The Process
For the rebrand, I started by researching Confused About Energy, establishing its brand values and mission statement and looking at its competitors. Once I had all the information, I created a range of logo design concepts for Richard to review and decide which direction to go. Once he chose and was happy with the final design, I started helping restructure the website and creating a range of illustration designs to go on the website. Once the website was complete, we devised a magazine to promote the brand and offer helpful energy advice.
